It all started with one 9-year-old boy, a birthday gift, and a roaring love for dinosaurs.
A Birthday Surprise
When DJ turned 9, his parents gave him something he had never seen before — a 3D printer. At first, he didn't know what to make. But one night, he dreamed about a dinosaur that could stand on his desk. The next morning, he searched for dinosaur models, loaded the printer with blue filament, and watched in awe as his very first creation came to life layer by layer. That little blue T-Rex now sits on his nightstand as a reminder of where everything began.
The Dinosaur Collection Grows
DJ couldn't stop. After the T-Rex came the Stegosaurus, then the Triceratops, then a whole prehistoric world that filled his shelves and spilled onto his floor. His friends at school started asking, 'Where did you get those?!' When DJ explained he made them himself with his 3D printer, their eyes went wide. He started making extra dinosaurs and gifting them to classmates on their birthdays. The joy on his friends' faces when they received a hand-made toy became his favorite thing in the world.
From Dinosaurs to Everything
With his parents' help, DJ learned to design his own models. He moved beyond dinosaurs and started creating sensory fidget toys with satisfying clicks and textures, colorful birdhouses with tiny bird friends, and race cars with rolling wheels. Each new design taught him something new. He spent weekends in his 'Toy Lab' — a corner of the garage his dad helped him set up — experimenting with colors, shapes, and moving parts. His little sister became his official 'test pilot,' trying out every new creation and giving honest reviews.
DJ's Toy House is Born
One day, DJ's mom suggested something that would change everything: 'Why not share your toys with kids everywhere?' DJ loved the idea. With his family's help, he photographed his creations, wrote descriptions for each toy, and built a little online store. He named it DJ's Toy House — a place where imagination comes to life, one print at a time. Every order he packs himself, with a handwritten thank-you note and a little dinosaur sticker. He saves every dollar earned for new filament colors and bigger, wilder toy designs.

Hey, I'm DJ!
I'm 9 years old and I LOVE making toys. My favorite thing in the whole world is dinosaurs — T-Rex is the best, obviously — but I also love birdhouses, sensory toys, and anything that goes super fast.
When I got my 3D printer for my birthday, I had no idea it would turn into a real store! I just wanted to make a dinosaur for my desk. Now I get to create toys for kids everywhere, and that makes me so happy.
Every toy you buy from DJ's Toy House is something I designed or picked out myself. I test every single one to make sure it's fun, strong, and safe. My little sister is my #1 toy tester — if she approves, it's good to go!
